To meet the requirements outlined in OMB M-22-09 “Moving the U.S. Government Towards Zero Trust Cybersecurity Principles”, Fiscal Service is requiring the use of multi-factor authentication. As part of this effort, beginning June 05, 2023, any IPP agency user that has previously linked their PIV or CAC card, will be required to use their card to access IPP. After August 28, 2023, all agency users that have a PIV or CAC card will be required to use their card or obtain a ID.me account to access IPP. To facilitate a smooth and timely transition, please follow the instructions in the Agency PIV Linking guide to link your PIV/CAC card to your IPP account.
